Tea Party

Today I went to Jessica's house--which is comparable to the white house--for a Christmas party. It was wonderful. We started out by having a tea party with home made cinnamon roles, rice pudding, icing, and whipped cream. It was so good! After we cleaned up we swing danced to Christmas music. I was terrible--it was my first time ever dancing--but i had lots of fun and the girls did not mind. We finally went and watched a movie after which we had a epic pillow fight. i got poked in the eye.

All in all I had a wonderful day.

Question to friends: how was your Saturday?

What the Hell?!?

I was looking back at all of my posts and sadly most of them are depressing. What the hell?! I need to start writing about the good things that have happened to me. What is the use of giving my friends the inacurate inpression that i am always depressed. That is not the case.

That being said, I do have one good thing to talk about. Christmas! I cannot wait until I am back home with my pipe and a good wood fire. We have a gas fireplace in the dorms, but it is just not the same.

To All My Friends: What are some things that you are looking forward to this Christmas?

When do you typically start shopping for holiday gifts? Do you usually wind up buying stuff at the last minute?

I love to shop as early as possible. That being said, sadly, that does not happen very often. I am not exactly sure why. Methinks that it is because I do not have a very good perception of time in the contexts of days and weeks. I forget how close we are to things... Shoot! There are 27 days, 9 hours, and 19 minuets. I better get shopping.

wow.

wow, today has been a smoothie of emotions. I worked a whole 13hrs today. And i loved every minuet of it. i bought a memorable alblum yesterday night: Relent K's "Two Lefts Don't Make A Right... But Three Do," and i spent the latter half of the day singing, dancing, and prancing down memory lane. i was very happy to find that  Andrea enjoyed it too.

On another note, i will be teaching a 1 lesson, crash-course on self-defense in Andrea's back yard next saturday afternoon, please come, and please wear somthing that is flexable. Fun will be had by all, while learning how to distroy a whole drug cartel with one punch

It’s interesting how things work out, how instances align themselves in such a way that either creates a beautiful memory or a dreadful disaster. Our lives are full of them, memories. I can remember things from my childhood, like smoking the cigarette-butts we found on the ground, or my first kiss. Some memories are wonderful, some I’d rather forget; but whatever the memories they are laced together with others, and other people. Almost every memory I have takes place with someone else—sure, you can have a memory of waking up on the forest and looking at the stars all alone, and that might be the most powerful memory you have, but the bulk of our memories are with and of people. And that someone else, has a memory of being there with you, doing something with you, sharing a moment, and instance with you. So, before you ride of the past as something done and over with, that should not be dwelt on—which might be true—remember that the past, and memories, are one of the few things that bind the human race together, one of the few things we have in common in a sea of diversity…

The Birth of a Monetary System

Two young, Japanese men—with odd American names—are working on the final parts of the up-and-coming squaresoft game late at night… and possibly drunk.

“Hey… George.”

“Yeah?”

“What is the acronym for Gold?”

“G… L… D…”

“Thanks! G… I… L…”

Three weeks later while playing the final cut of the game…

“…Ben, what the hell is Gil?”

“It’s the acronym for gold.”

“…”

“Is something wrong?”

“The acronym for gold is Gld.”

“…oh.”
